Book Sculptures
A collaborative response to an ISTD competition brief based on the idea of taking a metaphorical journey on the theme of connections. Our final concept is based on the fact that an average person reads less than 10 novels in a lifetime, which lead us to basing our work on 7 books read over different periods of our lives. We created a series of ‘book sculptures’ reflecting the journeys books take us on and how our imagination and attitude towards reading changes over time.
